1994-95 DASL End-of-Season Statistics
Some things to consider:
The time-based awards (monthly, weekly) are heavily influenced by games played
The best-worst games are decided at my discretion.
The best-worst games do not consider games where the player is in foul trouble. Sure, an Elmer Bennett game where he plays 15 minutes is probably the worst but that’s no fun. I want bricks and turnovers dammit!
I kept the weekly awards condensed as I figured no one is really interested unless your player won the award. So it’s a nice balance between giving the stats and saving me time.
Any positions listed are determined by box score (and thus played-at) positions, not the positions listed on the team roster page.
Without further ado...

Bean’s End-of-Season Positional Rankings (Top 8)
Position is determined by played-at, not the position listed on the roster page
Awards listed to right. A = All-league, D = All-defensive, R = All-Rookie
(*) means they were listed at a position other than the one they played for the majority.
Must play 42+ games at position to qualify. Games played not considered otherwise. So while 55 games compared to 82 is going to be equal, the 55 might make the player ineligible if he split 38-17 at two positions where otherwise he would have made the 42 game cut.
Stats are at listed position ONLY. So stats may and likely will differ from the stats on the roster page slightly.
I try to take only this season in account, so no potential-considerations or lifetime awards. I do try to take team comps into consideration but naturally I'm not going to have a complete understanding of every team in the league.

Re: 1994-95 DASL End-of-Season Statistics
As I expect people to notice his absence, Charles Smith was unique in the sense that he was so versatile (and Shaq was injured) that he doesn't qualify for any one position (24 games C, 26 games PF, 28 games SF).
His rankings as is would be #2 C, #1 PF, and #1 SF, although C was his best performing position.
Also, Charlotte has won their POTW so they're no longer the only one at 0! Woo!

Re: 1994-95 DASL End-of-Season Statistics
I also realized that the team-history pages show the game-records for each team, so I updated the team records to be the true records (mostly), as well as added a pts-allowed record.
With the opponents before 1987-88, I have no idea so they're ???.
the 76ers also matched the Nets record of 50 points allowed, but Nets did it 2 seasons earlier so it's their record.

So what I’m gathering is my team is really good at allowing other teams to get records. Great

Re: 1994-95 DASL End-of-Season Statistics
Penny had a nearly identical statistical season To his rookie year. Need him to take a leap next year

I wouldn't say that the identical stats is a negative. The team had a lot more talent (though obviously still terrible overall) and he managed to keep up the same numbers in slightly less minutes and on higher percentages. Meanwhile, Maclean dropped 1 PPG in slightly more MPG, and Horry dropped nearly 3 PPG in 0.7 fewer MPG. Shows meaningful improvement imo.800wins wrote:Penny had a nearly identical statistical season To his rookie year. Need him to take a leap next year

The TOs are a bit worrying, but Magic took several seasons to get reasonable TOPG.
