Wow! Just one. I'd let him have all of mine for a night and not think twice. If we get LS that will make up for the long snapper. A LS for a LS.akili1133 wrote:If we get Lache I will let chip have my ex-GF for the night!

I wonder how much this is that they have 'insider' info or simply are going off of Ducksterritory.com (the 2 are associated) and ESPN wants to seem like it has insider stuff to sell more insider subscriptions.
Here's to hoping it's the former.

I share you skepticism. The only thing that makes me think that there may be more to it is the time line that they put out. I don't understand why they would think that a kid would commit this week simply because he had nice things to say about the visit. Everyone has nice things to say about their visits.hendrg wrote:I wonder how much this is that they have 'insider' info or simply are going off of Ducksterritory.com (the 2 are associated) and ESPN wants to seem like it has insider stuff to sell more insider subscriptions.

Oregon blew Seastrunk away but lets take a step back and see how Seastrunk feels 2 week from now.
I won't say we lead but I won't say we are not a serious player now either.

Karl and Mops you both make interesting points.
Like Karl said, the commitment is said to be imminent (this week), which gives some weight to the story.
So if that doesn't turn out to be the case and Lache waits another couple weeks, Mops' point becomes very valid.
Has Lache actually named a leader?
Of course, I'd be just as happy with a stud D-lineman as an early christmas present!

I hope this is true because this is the type of commitment that could give us some serious momentum and really open the eyes of some of other top players we are targeting. It could have a snowball effect if he commits sooner rather than later.
If Seastrunk becomes a Duck is there any chance Trovon Reed reconsiders? I know those two are close.

After watching the Lache HL Video on Monday, that's all I've been raving about on Facebook and to friends since. All I want for Christmas is a signed LOI from Lache Seastrunk to Oregon!
I agree if he does verbal this week, that makes a huge difference for other high caliber players considering Oregon as well.

Trust me, Chip could do much, much better than any of our X's. He wouldn't be interested in the slightest, only DIMES for the DON DUCKA!brich75 wrote:LOL, If Chip wanted your ex girlfriend he would just take her lol!!akili1133 wrote:If we get Lache I will let chip have my ex-GF for the night!

Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Be good! She must be a good girl for him, because they were supposed to tie-the-knot this year, but postponed it when CK was named head coach. That couldn't have been easy!

I'm thinking with his pay raise, it was a helluva lot easier!hendrg wrote:Be good! Love the Don Ducka name. I personally think his nickname should be Chocolate Chip because he's pure sweetness.
