Final 10 (re-do)

Post by jimmy12 »

Ok-- now that there has been some "movement," the following are who I think we have a legit shot of getting:

Easley (de-commits from Penn St. and wants to get off the East Coast)
Werner (loves Oregon)
Mathis (loves Oregon rumored to be silent verbal)
King (lives in Oregon rumored to be silent verbal)
Seastrunk (some say committed on trip-- NOT confirmed)
Hemschoot (LB) -- under radar but plays for former Oregon LB John Bacon

Have a shot at:
OWA (can you imagine Easley, OWA and King for the next 4 years?)
Christian Thomas (loves Oregon, but will he commit?)
Lattimore (still going to visit, so we have a shot)

I think that is it????

You could add Anthony Jefferson & the mysterious RB to the "have a shot at" list. Otherwise looks good. I would be so happy to finish with just the 6 guys on the legit shot list.

Dyjuan Lewis possibly in the mix after decommittment from Cincy. lists Oregon is his 5 but we won't have a real chance unless he comes out for a visit after the dead period

I hope we make a run at him. It would be nice to get a stud WR in this class also.

It would be awesome to land someone like Dyjuan Lewis in this class. With as up and down Holland has been I could see him turning into another D. Jones. Might as well push for a legit talent to go along with Diante Jackson for the future.

I agree it would be nice to land a good WR in this class. I'm hoping that we're still in it for McCartney. Also don't forget Heimuli. I think he's a stud in a couple years.

Gaines is sort of a short term player since he only has 2 years left if the NCAA doesnt screw us.

Ricky Heimuli & Erick Dargan defiinitely need to be added to the "have a shot" section of your post.

Yeah, but if Jackson is anywhere near as good as he looks in practice, he may only be at UO 2-3 more years.
