Why is everyone such pansies when someone posts his feelings that may go against the grain with the program?

It's more about insisting something is a fact when in reality it is an unprovable non-fact. You can't know if Chip can't close unless you really know each individual situation and are in all of the living rooms when he's there. Add to it that the guy isn't giving fair credit when due to coach Kelly.
I would question people harder if they didn't respond.

If you want to bag on kelly then you should have said something like "chip can't close on elite recruits yet because we are not at the level of Florida, USC, Alabama yet.
To say he cant close is ridiculous, he could go out and close on 3 star guys all day.. Luckily for us, he want's to build an elite program with elite player's. So he takes big chances on big time recruits. We should be happy it seems to me that his desire to succeed is greater than his fear of failure. It will pay off someday.

good post. people are just getting frustated by recruits who commit or say they are committed then go somewhere else.
It would be a lot easier on all( including fans) if a recruit who just say: I'm not sure yet, Ducks are in my top 5, I will choose on such and such date.

Man, if you guys are this upset this early.... you should re-fill your anti-depressant prescription because LOI day is a long ways away.

Like others have said if you don't like it then don't follow it, becasue it happens every year. I guess bellioti sp? couldn't recruit either. I'm sure he didnt the big name recruits his first couple years. If you don't like it then go find something else to do and complain somewhere else.

Re: Can we move on to the Army game?
I remember the feeling I had after getting burned on Tahj Boyd. I promised myself I would never get my hopes up like that for a recruit again. Everything said, rumored, or talked about before the recruit signs his LOI is all just speculation. I have more faith in a recruit that verbals, but even that is subject to change (see E.Grant).
Question: Would having C.Harper this last year changed any of the outcomes of the games we lost? BSU, Stanford, tOSU?

No, unless Harper grew a couple of inches and put on 100 or so pounds to play DLNCDucks09 wrote:I remember the feeling I had after getting burned on Tahj Boyd. Lache, Mathis, Owa, and Heimuli are all playing in the All American Army. On Scout.com, it has an artical on Heimuli and where he's going to announce. Are all these players going to announce at the game?
Thanks!
