WBB F Jennah Isai transfers to BYU
After leaving the team suddenly down in San Diego, WBB FR F Jennah Isai has transferred to BYU. Strange situation that I doubt we'll get full answers to.

With only 5 players on the roster with eligibility next season and 3 incoming FR, I have to imagine Graves will be hitting the transfer portal and/or the international recruits hard to fill out his roster.

Wtf? These transfer rules are crazy now. To be honest, it's making it harder to follow college sports for me personally.
Lots of promise. Man, I can't imagine bailing on your team in the midst of a season. Now this is totally routine practice.

Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

I have no idea or even a good theory as to why she quit but Jennah and Amari Whiting seemed to know each other well. Would not be surprised if their mothers didn't know each fairly well too. With Amari going to BYU to be coached by her mother the destination does not surprise me.

The good thing about this year as opposed to the last couple is he knows about the need early instead of after the best transfers had already landed.greenyellow wrote:With only 5 players on the roster with eligibility next season and 3 incoming FR, I have to imagine Graves will be hitting the transfer portal and/or the international recruits hard to fill out his roster.
The other good thing is that I really liked Jennah's game but she plays roughly the same position as the 3 incoming freshman. Graves will be able to go after several bigs, maybe accept one early that isn't at the top of his list knowing he still has room for more.

Twitter warriors laying blame on Graves for so many players transferring...
But GVS was Isai's roommate and doesn't mention her in the tight team culture discussion.
Sometimes its not a fit and people move on.

So Sammie Wagner is supposedly graduated early and is supposed to Enroll in early January. Original plan was for her to practice and travel with the team. Could Oregon have her play like the Beavs did with Von Whats Her Name a couple of years ago? An injury or 2 would really put the team in a bind with such a small roster.

She still has U of O shirt in her twitter photo and still has the ducks retweets.
Just hoping there is someone in the portal available to help the team in January.
Otherwise this is yet another throw away season

I think Graves needs to get back to having 12-13 players on the roster at a time. This 10-11 player roster isn't cutting it, especially without generational talents like Sabrina, Ruthie, and/or Satou being some of those players.
