OUr two shooters were, I think, 3 of23. How can that be?

When we play teams that have people as big or bigger than our bigs we're getting worked. Philly's stats for those games are really bad. We need to get more physical because the refs are letting everyone push, shove and hack.

OSU's McDonalds All American (#2 ranked Forward) Timea Gardiner in her third game back from injury found her NCAA level stride this game. With her and fellow Top 10 Beers and the 6'9" Mitrovic out of the dog house and playing great they are the biggest most rugged front court in the Conference now. (At least for this game but likely forward from here.)

The size really got to Grace and with most of her first shot attempts blocked she began to play rushed and frustrated. Philli played out of sorts likely because of her concussion and the Beavers guards skill at stripping her of the ball when she brought it down. Roger also struggled against all that size as she gets a lot of her points in the paint. Mitrovic really took Oregon out of their offense leaving them with the roller coaster of 3 point shots falling.

This years team is just razor thin up front without Prince. Losing her took them from being able to put the biggest front line in the conference on the floor to now playing half each game with a 6'3" post. Grace wont face the kind of size OSU throws at you many times but I'm sure she'll learn how to get her shot off against them soon because she is such a hard worker.

On the plus side this team plays hard and fights back. Gray is finding her offense to go along with her steady on ball defense. (Oregon played a lot of man to man against WSU and it was Gray they matched up with the PAC's leading scorer so we know the Coaches really believe in her D.)

I like this team but not as title contenders. With the recruits coming in next year they will be a transfer portal big away from being back in contention.

So basically every OSU gets their big coming out game against us lol.

I guess we wait to see next year's recruits. But really missing the key piece of a POY contender to make a title run. Maybe in 10 years we get another one since those don't come often and none of these players are it.
