i've never expected owa to come here. wanted engineering, then not, then who knows. some kids just want to leave. btw, has anyone here actually seen owa play? i've only read stuff about him in camps, not games. most of us here get hung up on kids we've never seen (not that we'd have any clue how to scout him in the first place) but the only video i've seen of easley this year was him on the sidelines not playing because of an injury on some obscure nypost.com video i found on youtube.

Just read an AAA article on Rivals that said it's pretty much down to UCLA and Oregon State...

If he wants to study engineering, OSU is a decent choice

Not surprising. As I recall, nothing Owa has ever said has led me to believe he would choose Oregon.

people, people, people...you HAVE to stop thinking that a loss or 2 really effects a recruit as much as you think it does. it's been proven time and time again year after year after year that a loss here or there DOES NOT REALLY MATTER. losing season after losing season does matter but in the big scheme of things back to back losses in the civil war doesn't matter. you have to stop thinking how a recruit thinks. you have to stop pretending you know the relationships that the recruit has w/ ANY of the schools recruiting the kid. some kids just click with some coaches. no rhyme or reason.

so if Owa picks OSU....please don't be surprised. if he picks UCLA, please don't be surprised. Colvin picked us. Haloti picked us. now think how SC felt and BYU felt. Oregon? really? he's going to Oregon?

end scene...

BRAVO!

It gets tiring at times reading all of these posts where people feel like the Ducks are entitled to every recruit

I can understand UCLA (tradition, Rose Bowl, weather, girls), but I'm sorry, who in their right mind would want to play for Beaver nation, a team that can't even sell out a 45K stadium? A team who's current coach has not led them to less than a 4 loss season.

Off topic, but you've gotten much better at disagreeing with people while not insulting them. Good post.

He hasn't cut the Ducks, it's still Oregon, OSU, UCLA and USC, but yes, Nebraska is back in the picture. He's got an in-home with Nebraska coming up, with Bo Pellini likely there and also an in-home with the Ducks yet to come.

I don't understand why everyone doesn't just pay the $9.95 per month and get the info for yourselves firsthand? That would certainly squash a lot of rumors and misinformation.

Are you cheap people the type of guys that wash paper plates? SPEND THE MONEY!!!

I'm pickin' on you guys, relax.

Dude, I apologize. I was only joking, but I still may have been out of line with that statement. I've had rough patches as well. I hope your dream job picks up and you start getting full-time work soon! :)

Yeah I used to have Rivals and while it was informative and had all the videos I didn't find it was worth 120$ a year. You can find almost all those same videos on youtube now and get the same info here just like 2 hours later and maybe slightly less informative but still the same general gist
