Oregon needs to turn the roster over at the guard position and bring in 3-4 guys that are not so limited on the offesnive end.StevensTechU wrote:Lets hope Shelstad has 'it.'

Not surprised by the result with this incredibly inconsistent team, like a previous poster said I had no faith in this team and their inability to fight through adversity to win out, even against the worst 5 teams in the conference. At this point it’s win the tourney or another fun trip to the NIT.
In my personal opinion Mullens needs to give Altman one more year. Not only is the team not performing but the fan excitement is basically gone, people don’t care about the basketball team anymore. From simply a financial perspective Mullens has to think about the future and how a change might be what’s best for the University. With the talent coming in next year, if we have another trip to the NIT then it’s definitely time for a coaching change at Oregon basketball.

This team on paper is the best that Altman has had, yet they are as bad in my opinion as the team we had with Troy Brown Jr. and Elijah Brown. The offense seems so stale and Dana isn't making any changes. Defense is awful as well. I hope they don't make it to the NIT to be honest. It's pretty embarrassing watching this team. If they do make it to the NIT, expect another blow out like last year against TAMU.

I don't know that I would use the talent card when we have a bunch of guards that shoot under 40% from the floor and less than 30% from three. Teams can just overplay Richardson and stack the post and this team has no way to effectively score.
On paper this team is the worst offensive team Altman has had since the 2010 team with Jovan Catron.

I disagree. Our front court talent is pretty good relatively speaking, however our wing and forward play has some of my least favorite players on any Altman team ever. Like northbeachsf pointed out, these guys shooting percentages are the worst from guard and forward play ever under Altman.GoDucks7 wrote:This team on paper is the best that Altman has had, yet they are as bad in my opinion as the team we had with Troy Brown Jr. and Elijah Brown. Time to start looking for Altman replacement even if it's a couple years down the line.
