So who do we poach off USC?

With Carroll and most or all of the coaching staff gone, I can guarantee you that 5-10 commits will jump ship. So who does Chip target?
These are the guys I go after.

WR Woods
S Bailey
TE Telfer


I go after Uko and Woods hard, set up visits. Let's go Chip!

getting Uko would be the best thing that could happen with regards to the USC recruits. I don't think there's much chance of that - if he decommits, I don't expect him to go further than across town to UCLA

I don't care how mad we are at him or what the reasons are for it. With how badly we need DLinemen, we need Uko. If he does indeed open himself up I'd have to think we'd be in his top 3 along w/ UCLA again. We NEED him. GO GET HIM CHIP!!!

Also, Woods would be pretty damn sweet as well.

I don't see anywhere on the Moseley's blog about Uko. He could have taken it down since he doesn't like to deal with a lot of rumors.

I don't think we get any of their recruits that are already committed. I think it will make a difference in some recruits that are yet to commit. EX: King, Seastrunk, Owa, Heimuli.... Hopefully these guys will see Oregon as a more solid program not being investigated by the NCAA.

Of coarse I want Seastrunk badly, but the players I want in this class are Werner and Heimuli. Heimuli has the size and skill to play right away and put a BIG body in the middle of the line. I think Werner might have the most potential out of any recruit we're looking at. He is freakishly athletic for his size and could be scary good. I still feel kinda screwed over by Easley, but I'd take these two in a heart beat to replace him.

Speaking of Easley, how about Florida just cleaning up these last two weekends. Tons of talent coming aboard. Must be nice.

Yeah I agree with you. A lot of the guys committed didn't really have the Ducks in the mix. But guys like the ones you listed are almost completely down to us & SC.
