No we aren't. He didn't say which were the 2 he "was feeling", but he made it pretty clear that Oregon wasn't one of the two. Most feel the 2 are eUSC & PSU.duck55 wrote:^^ Possible Oregon is 1 of the 2 and his visit could decide the selection???

Re: Lattimore tips hand?
the two he was referring to are PSU and either Auburn or USCe, and this has a lot to do with the fact that those are the campuses he has visited. The first two on officials and the third on a lot of unofficials (and an official next weekend). I think Penn State is the team to beat at this point - he seems to really like Paterno, and Paterno is getting an in-home visit with him after Lattimore visits Oregon.
Oregon no longer has the final visit, either - that goes to Georgia now, but I think they're a distant fifth place on the totem pole (who really knows though).
I do find this quote pretty encouraging, though: "I really couldn't name a leader right now because I haven't been to Oregon."

I really don't think we have any shot at Latt anymore. Especially if Lache really is "100% Oregon".

I really won't believe that Lache is 100% Oregon until his LOI is signed, sealed and delivered. Even with Petey out of the picture, I wouldn't be surprised if USC "pulls out all the stops" for him on his visit.dthomas=ddixon wrote:I really don't think we have any shot at Latt anymore. Lattimore I would say ends up somewhere else.... I think it will be Penn State. or Auburn... no family visiting with him....as other posters have said! But I am getting this feeling for Lache, I think he is 99.9 % oregon of course there is a 1% direction change to go somewhere else.. he does have the USC trip, however fact is they don't have a coach.. and there will be possible sanctions...and USC cannot put a idea on what sanctions the NCAA will put on USC.. that is the point here.. no recruit wants to play where there is a possibility of no chance for titles or bowls..any recruit wants the pub!!! Welcome to Oregon Lache!
Its Otime everytime, Quack loud and Proud!

I think he's going to South Carolina. Spurrier will promise him a lot considering they don't have a ton of RB talent (compared to Oregon at least). Penn St would be a solid upset in this one as far I'm concerned.ksmack wrote:Lattimore I would say ends up somewhere else....
