Remember USC Football program will face NCAA violations
yeah this might seem a hit to the ducksack! but not really...USC hires the arrogant, slime balls of college football. So no surprise hear...this move from USC is out of desperation they were losing recruits fast! now someone promising out of his arse can sweet talk the recruits to staying... however recruits will need to think that a football under NCAA sanctions may not be a good move...so I believe USC will keep UKO.. and others but some will leave..I wonder though when Kiffin starts coaching is he going to throw chip shots at Chip kelly??? I mean if he is talking to Urb like that ..it should be interesting.. remember what makes this hurt the ducksack even worse would be if USC football progam gets slap on the wrist!!!! that would suck.. I believe that program should have 2 years reduced scholarships ripped and 1 year ban from bowl games.

I read a report from ESPN that had Ed O. calling the incoming freshman recruits offering them USC scholarships at the same time Kiffen was telling the players he wasn't going to coach there. Didn't seem to have a problem pissing off the kids that had just finished playing the season for them, why stop there?karlhungis wrote:Well, Kiffin is already trying to snag Chow from fUCLA. Re: Remember USC Football program will face NCAA violations
Kiffin won't last long, he will either commit too many minor violations or a major violation and get run out or piss too many people off (the AD, boosters, etc.) and get the boot. This guy hasn't done anything as far as winning games, sure he is a great recruiter, so he can get talent but so was Charlie Weis. I see this as a good thing for Oregon, Oregon didn't do much to compete with USC for recruits anyway so not much changes there and Kiffin has huge shoes to fill. How long will the boosters give him to win before he gets canned, I will say 3 years. The only thing he has going for him is he has great staff, but how long do they stay before moving on to greener pastures? Plus you have to factor in the possible penalties from the NCAA investigation. So you have the fact that USC has already committed a number of violations combined with the mess Kiffin left at Tennessee regarding possible violations. He will be under a lot of scrutiny, pressure and have a close eye on him.
The fall of Troy and rise of Mighty Oregon has begun!!!!!

Re: Remember USC Football program will face NCAA violations
People we have to remember this is USC and not Oregon.. or Oregon State or Cal or Arizona and on and on and on. The only thing the NCAA will do is slap USC on the wrist. This is one of their big boys and the NCAA can not afford to have them on probation. They represent to much money in bowl games and in TV revenue. If it was anyone but USC they would be put on probation and lose scholarships. The NCAA has a vested interest in keeping the big boys eligible in bowl games all the schools have to do is win and they will make it worth the NCAA to not put them on probation. I might be wrong but my bet is it will only be a slap on the wrist.
Lane Kiffin had 6 minor violations.. 6 and what did the NCAA do.. absolutely nothing. If the playing field was indeed level the penalties would be the same no matter who you are but in the NCAA that just is not the case.

Interesting. on e duck the vol's had 22 commitments. they now have only 18.
the fall out seems to have begun. that would suck for the vol's. i wouldnt
be surprised to see tenn. try and get usc to go back there for a game.

well they're already scheduled to have a home-and-home series with each other in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. For all of our entertainment purposes we can only hope they decide to bump this by a decade. I will personally send each school $10 out of my own poor pockets to make this happen.duckfan22 wrote:Interesting. on e duck the vol's had 22 commitments. they now have only 18.
