Actually, don't expect the penalties to be too tough against SC. Most likely they will only have to vacate some wins (not much of a penalty at all considering Carroll is gone) and at most lose a few scholarships. Don't expect a bowl ban or anything like that.

Sounds great guy....as said above lets hope it all works out especially a few of those DTs!

And for those who moan and grown over recruiting, enjoy it because this is it until LOI day then it gets very quiet!

I don't expect a Bowl Ban, either. It could create a catastrophe for the NCAA if - USC still has a ton of talent on the team and coming in next year. What if they end up going undefeated in a couple seasons, but can't play in a bowl/for the National Championship?

I think that the punishments handed down will be in multiple lesser or more creative ways, but not as a bowl game ban.

^I'd agree with that...CFB needs its icons/historic programs.

Plus this has less to do with USC and more to due with selfish athletes and their parents.

From that article: “No, I am not visiting USC this coming weekend. I don’t plan on visiting USC at this point,” said Seastrunk. “I’m aware of the new coach and it will likely not change my decision moving forward. I have cancelled this trip, I have no other visits planned, and I’m actually hoping to have my decision very soon.”

Sound good to me! :D

Got information from a source at USC...A booster stated that they have offered the NCAA 6 scholarships ripped this season and next and bowl ban next year and boosters to pay back money given to players! NCAA TURNED IT DOWN!!!! THEY RULE ON FEB 19TH I AM TELLING YOU THIS IS LOOKING BAD AND MY SOURCE SAID THE SAME!! so those who doubt or think USC could gets hand slapped.. think what you want... Troy TO FALL and they hired Lane Kiffin who was part of these recruiting problems and he had problems at the VOLS... NCAA will send a harsh message to the rest here!!!!

From a very unreliable source, I've heard speculation that it may be loss of at least 5 schollies per/yr for 5 yrs and a 3 year postseason ban. FWIW. We shall see soon enough.

Yea, it is possible. Reduce of schollie for USC Football and basketball. Other than that, not sure since NCAA will decide.

Very unlikely. I mean he does have one visit still available, but Hayes IMO should end up at USC especially if he visits them this weekend as planned.

LB is the one position I'm least worried about anyway, so it's all good.
