Not a big surprise. He's already decommitted twice and we're only in March. Best of luck to him.

Playing time no doubt his #1 factor. Probably saw our 5 WR freshmen class and Evan Stewart and decided he wants to go somewhere he could play as a frosh.

Sounds like they're expecting Dallas Wilson to decommit as well. Not the worst thing with the WRs they're still after and how Junior Adams can land transfers too. I expect WRs like Mozee, Harris, and Perry to be potential commits this spring.

Dallas Wilson is definitely a much bigger loss than Adrian, but it is what it is. I honestly don't get too invested in guys that commit more than a year early, because I feel like 90% of them decommit before the time comes. I suppose in general I don't get as excited about commits these days until they sign. Even then, there's the likely realization that they'll transfer within a year or two if they don't see significant early playing time.

Yeah recruiting is more about having a top class just to continue momentum and use that as a metric of success and growing. Who you actually have in that class means less and less each year.

I'm less excited about HS recruiting and more excited about the transfer portal these days. Especially with the vast amount of high level players hitting the transfer portal each year now.

Sign a 5 star HS qb or DL, sweet!...sign a 5 star transfer QB or DL, f**k yeah! Could alter your season/s.

This guy just decommitted again...from ASU. And he committed to coach Sub Prime at Colorado. When do we expect him to decommit from them and who will he actually sign with in December?

Couldn’t agree more. Look at the UO secondary. All five starters are transfers. High level HS recruits are great. Getting proven free agents that have been there, done that, are priceless. It is what it is in todays college football. I’m completely happy skimming the cream off the top of proven free agents. PROVEN being the key word. Whom wouldn’t want to be in the NIL position the Ducks find themselves? Colleges always paid players, but to be able to do it, and succeed in the new landscape, legally…Go Ducks! If you can’t pay/keep up, not our problem.
