I was not expecting that big of jump. They were like #35-37 in the previous polls so that's massive. Hopefully this gets people to attend the games this week as they open Big Ten play.

I have never liked to see the basketball team ranked in meaningless polls. Hopefully it isn't a distraction.

Frankly for their expectations, its probably best they learn to deal with it so its not an issue come spring-time.
