Syracuse beats Miami 42-38. So sorry Mario-not.

Re: Uh-oh mario
Even though I'd prefer Miami to make it to playoffs over a 3-loss SEC team, it probably ain't happening...

Re: Uh-oh mario
Miami just has so little to brag about. In addition to two bad losses, they barely escaped in a bunch of other games. Syracuse, who just beat them, has a better resume (wins over ranked Miami and UNLV).
Heard this morning that Cristobal has lost 5 games as a double-digit favorite since 2020, which is easily the most of any coach.

Thank You Mario!
Thank you for going to Miami! We likely wouldn't have gotten Lanning without you leaving. And we undoubtedly would have suffered from those same type of losses you caused for the Hurricanes.

Re: Uh-oh mario
I actually put a higher priority on Miami U not making the playoffs than an SEC team of however many losses not making it. (Yes, I'm childish
.). I don't know if someone can do this or not, but I'm curious as to the odds of the Hurricanes making or not making the CFP. It looks like they'll be at about #14 when today's CFP rankings come out. Any way they could still get in depending on this weekend's games?

Their defense sucks, big time. And without referee help, they should have at least 4 losses. Everyone understands that, but Mario.

I know he’s not their DC but maybe finally people will see that Salavea’ is a terrible coach and recruiter. So glad both he and Mario are gone.Everythingsducky wrote:Their defense sucks, big time. And without referee help, they should have at least 4 losses. Everyone understands that, but Mario.

^ Big Joe was not an asset for the Ducks. Mario had a ceiling he would never exceed. We are blessed with our current coaches.
