Multiple Oregon signees are lobbying on social media to get Andrew Olesh. Not a strategy that's paid off much in the past, but hey, throw everything you can at him.

Dakorien Moore is one of the most active recruiters I’ve ever seen at Oregon. He’s also trying to get Jahkeem Stewart right now.

If that happened, these youtube message boards for On3 and 247 would go nutso!

I was wondering why I couldn't find film on Stewart and then learned that he basically hasn't played since his freshman year because of transfers and other reasons, and is now skipping his senior season. Every year there's a Byron Cowart type where you wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze, and he's that kid this year to me.

Just thinking this has been a pretty dang ideal day so far. Maybe the only slight bummer so far is missing out on Cure, but we're adding Ploog and possibly Olesh, and have Harrison next year (and maybe Brock Harris soon too). So meh.

-Kept Finney/Wilson (I don't think we realize how exceptional this was by our coaching staff)
-Pulled Offord from Ohio State (Most thought Auburn)
-Somehow landed JKS (I was pretty convinced he would go to Cal)

Adding Olesh would be a cherry on top of it all!

Curious that most of Alabama's in state talent is going to Auburn with very little going to Alabama.

Oregon landed the #1 rated player in Alabama! Whodathunkit...

The top athlete in the class might be* Tobi Haastrup, and sounds like the Ducks have at least a puncher's chance.

Jahkeem Stewart to USC, maybe it’s me being bitter but I do get Bear Alexander 2.0 vibes from him.

The word is that it will likely be Oregon, unless something changes last minute.

That kid went from "what's a football" to trying to learn the landscape of college athletics in like 2.5 months. I don't envy him or his family. Hope we get him, but going to be intrigued by his development regardless of where he ends up. His HUDL is shockingly impressive.

For those who are reading this and don't know his background, he's a Nigerian-Brit who stands 6'4, 240 and runs a 10.7 100m. Never played football before moving to Texas in his senior year.

Sounds like Jahkeem Stewart is going to LSU or USC, Pickett is beteeen LSU and Miami, and Offord is sticking with Ohio State. Hope I’m wrong but this could end up being the biggest national signing day letdown under Lanning so far especially if Dallas Wilson flips to Florida or Miami.
One man's highest average recruit ranking in the country is another man's doom and gloom.

Goodness gracious

If he ends up showing any type of proclivity for catching the ball he'll get moved to Offense otherwise he's going to grow into a nightmare of an Edge player. I wonder if Big Dave has had any contact with his family? The other thought is how I've heard Stein and players talk about Dan covering every situation in practices and I've long thought that Coaches have to make sure they cover every single basic concept up to the most advanced and can't assume players know small details. That said, the kid either has a natural ability to "shed" or else he's taken to the concept quickly.

The kid is fast as hell and sheds blocks well, but I would've like to see him put his helmet on the ball when tackling. Clearly he has a ton of natural talent, coach him up and he'll be a freak on the field
