This really is Josh Goff in the Rain Bowl in Eugene all over again.
One was a gift, but the INT and sack-fumble is Michigan's defense, which is unexpected given how many starters they're missing.UOducksTK1 wrote: Tue Dec 31, 2024 10:36 am lol you can't make this up. Michigan is given gift after gift.

Alabama doesn't belong in a bowl game...

true true, but so convenient of Bama to do these turnovers so deep in their territory each time.StevensTechU wrote: Tue Dec 31, 2024 10:37 amJalen Milroe turnovers: 3*

At this rate, voters are going to punish Alabama by putting them #2 in next year's preseason poll.

LOL!
With ESPN working overtime to boost perception (and ranking) of SEC teams, I was recalling a couple of years ago, I found a stat for the most consistently over ranked teams for the last 20 years or so. I fully expected the #1 spot to be occupied by Notre Dame, but it was according to the data, Texas.

This is the Alabama team we've seen all year. Athletes capable of beating anyone but day to day mediocre defense and offense prone to mistakes. Shocking Michigan is in this game given their missing pieces.

Michigan getting FG’s instead of TD’s is coming back to haunt them. I want Mich to win but didn’t even expect it to be close, then they went and got my hopes up.

Nearing the end of the 3rd, almost feels like if they can make it 19-10 with another FG it could be out of reach.rsbgduck wrote: Tue Dec 31, 2024 12:24 pm Michigan getting FG’s instead of TD’s is coming back to haunt them. Mich has recruited well and Moore is true to their identity at least of winning ugly.

I love that the announcers have been pleading for down field passing, then Michigan finally does and it's intercepted. Michigan needs to play within themselves.

I don’t know the guys name, the dude on the left in the studio at halftime mistaking (not his first time) Eugene for Corvallis. Just another example of a lack of preparation by the jackasses at ESPN. about the only one I care to listen to are N. Saben (purely for X’s and O’s) and Pat Mcafee. I actually wish he did more CFB on his show. I just like how he gives it from a fans perspective and the attitude of F-you if you don’t like it.

I agree, I enjoy a good close defensive battle but when one of the teams is as explosive as Alabama it sure makes me nervous.Duck07 wrote: Tue Dec 31, 2024 12:31 pmNearing the end of the 3rd, almost feels like if they can make it 19-10 with another FG it could be out of reach.rsbgduck wrote: Tue Dec 31, 2024 12:24 pm Michigan getting FG’s instead of TD’s is coming back to haunt them. Yeah I saw him calling it Corvallis too. What a dope...
