Just another example of a lack of preparation by the jackasses at ESPN. about the only one I care to listen to are N. Saben (purely for X’s and O’s) and Pat Mcafee. I actually wish he did more CFB on his show. I just like how he gives it from a fans perspective and the attitude of F-you if you don’t like it.
I have given up watching ESPN at all, especially for college football, they’re so bad. CBS and NBC aren’t any better. Fox is OK if you’re able to endure the excessive Ohio State love. It’s sad though how much college football coverage has fallen off, even Kirk Herbstreit isn’t what he used to be since he started doing Thursday night football on Prime.

^^ Kirk Herbstreit fully becoming a homer for ESPN and the southmost conference is upsetting. I feel like he gave Oregon its flowers in the Chip days when the team ascended to its present status, and to see that he no longer 1) is fair and objective, and 2) seems like he almost doesn't even like the game, it's disappointing.

Oddly, I'm finding myself actually interested in the Illinois and South Carolina game. First time all year I've tuned in to see a Big Ten game and actually cared!

The postseason is making Oregon look really good. Illinois up at half on South Carolina. Penn State blew out SMU. Michigan beat Alabama. Ohio State blew out Tennessee. In a lot of years, you hear how certain teams are battle tested, and that seems to apply to the Ducks this year.

Oh, and go Cards.

Huskies lose the Sun Bowl by one point vs Louisville after scoring 2 TD's in the fourth quarter, only to lose when they decided to go for two on the last TD and they failed. And now they have a losing season at 6-7. So heartbreaking for them.

So after ripping on Indiana for losing by 10 to Notre Dame and insisting that any of their 3-loss teams would have played a better game, the SEC machine now has had to swallow an Ohio State beatdown of Tennessee, and losses by Alabama and now South Carolina by two other Big 10 also-rans. Wow, how are they going to spin this? Fortunately for Ole Miss, they don't have to play a Big 10 team, but it would be hilarious if they lost anyway.

Oregon will finish the year with at least four top 15 wins this year in Penn State, Illinois, Ohio State and Boise State. I'd be surprised if they've ever done that before.

Yes, GO ASU!

I think that Oregon beating Texas will give more perceived value in the next round, but I think this playoff needs an upset to remind the pundits that they can't predetermine outcomes based on brands and just stack the playoffs with SEC teams.
