My gut feeling says Lache to LSU. I based this on location, family, and gf. Trovon Reed possibly switching there to is another pull to Baton Rouge vs. Eugene...I'm crossing my fingers that my gut isn't right, but I've seen it time and time again...

The WR isn't Reed... he's solid as a rock to Auburn, and coach Frost hardly ever talks to him anymore, he's also tripping to LSU in the next couple weeks "out of courtesy" to the staff.

Is if Josh Huff? As much as I despise Jesuit, I kinda hoped the Keanon Lowe rumor was true...

Well this doesn't sound like the guy DT was talking about...
My guess is this might Huff or Lache.

Well there is no rumor with Lowe. It's a fact that he was contacting the coaches and figuring out his situation if he'd get offered.ljginger wrote:Is if Josh Huff? As much as I despise Jesuit, I kinda hoped the Keanon Lowe rumor was true...
It's a matter of availability at this point. As much as I love to keep in state talent, I'd rather have Huff over Lowe for WR. And if Huff or another WR does come here, there's a slim to no chance Lowe ends up here.
Time will tell.

No worries, just clearing it up. I'll be honest though, it's sounding less likely Lowe comes here, which would usually be a bad thing. But if we don't get him, it'll be because we have better talent coming our way. A bummer for Lowe, but oh well. Let's just hope he doesn't come back to hurt us if he does stick with Washington.ljginger wrote:Ye rumor wasn't the right word, thanks TK!

It would be nice to bring in a 4-star receiver but Lowe doesn't excite me like some of the other recruits on the board. The only real reason I want Lowe is so we can rub it in UW's smug faces. I hate Washington.

Re: Who's the possible commit?
Just keep in mind that Rickert on OregonLive does NOT have inside sources re recruiting. He gleans his news via sites like DSA & eDuck. Right now there are hints that someone has committed. Could easily be Dargan as quite a few insiders have said he's been s ilent for while. He just tripped Ucla and wasn't blown away. Finally, Justin on DT hinted very strongly that it's Dargan.
BTW, the Seastrunk stuff on eDuck is not coming from their mods, but 1 poster primarily a few days ago. Earlier today he softened his take on Sea, but still feels very good. Ultimately Sea is likely going to keep us all in suspense for the next 3 wks.

That article really makes it sound like Seastrunk committed. He also didn't say that the 4* is necissarily a WR. Jefferson maybe?

Re: Who's the possible commit?
Yeah as much as I would like to steal Lowe from the huskies, I'd rather have Huff if given the choice. Its pretty sweet having all the guys left that we're going after be highly rated. No matter who commits its big news. No more of these unknown, unrated guys coming down the stretch.

I just hope that it goes public soon. I really don't want to wait until signing day.

Re: Who's the possible commit?
Possibly another commit on the way. Given the time frame this close to signing day with everyone paying attention, and the size of the name, won't take long for wildfire to spread it. Sorry to just tease it out there but, if you're following all of this, check back occasionally to see if it's happened and the story's broken.MacDuck wrote:Just keep in mind that Rickert on OregonLive does NOT have inside sources re recruiting. I am wondering if Dargan fits the "size of the name" reference in Rickert's blog? In the sense of a high profile, highly ranked recruit...don't get me wrong, having a player like Dargan would be great...but I am wondering if Rickert's is hinting at a 5 star, Blue-chipper?
