Not a must win but it’s very important the ducks win this one.

Pretty much a must win. Can't start the BIG at 1-3. Hope Dana's late season swoon happens again.

Agreed. Especially with three of those losses coming at home.

It sure seems like a must win. Lose, 1-3 to start conference play, next games, @ Ohio State, @ Penn State, then home for Purdue, and Washington, who beat Maryland, who beat Ohio State worse than Illinois beat Ohio State, though it was at Maryland. But B1G basketball is Must Win every game.

Too many defensive liabilities. Moss is lazy, Supreme gets destroyed on switched, etc. there’s a lot more but those are the reoccurring issues so far.

Offense is ok.

Nevermind, the whole team sucks at D, lol!

Maryland has 30 points in 10 minutes. On rate to outscore Illinois with 120 points.

Fortunately the Ducks have some fight on offense and so it's a tight game.

Shelstad’s offensive barrage in like a 4 minute span has kept us in this. Without him, we are shooting 2-13 from three.

Grinder of a game! Maryland is a good squad and had a strong game against us.

So big win for Oregon. Phew!

Yeah. Any win was REALLY important I think for the confidence of the team going forward after Thursday night's debacle.

Really liked what I saw from Shelstad. I noticed him and Barthelemy (instead of Bamba and Tracey?) on the court at the same time quite a bit. I wonder if Altman is going to do that more.

Huge win for the Ducks, Shelstad in particular. He had an awful game against Illinois but pretty much put the team on his back in this one. Before I was always annoyed when a B1G team would not only get in March Madness with a sub-.500 conference record, but now I see how that happens. Win at home, go .500 on the road was the mantra in the Pac-12. We've seen how hard it is to win at home. Every win is huge.
