Purdue has played two games on the road so far this season, and have lost both, @ Marquette, 76-58 & @ Penn State, 81-70. Oregon's 2 losses are @ home, UCLA & Arizona.

I don't remember playing Arizona, but I do remember the ducks getting smoked by Illinois at home.Merganzer wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 5:05 pm Purdue has played two games on the road so far this season, and have lost both, @ Marquette, 76-58 & @ Penn State, 81-70. Ack! Even though I checked before posting I missed putting Arizona there instead of Illinois. Stilll haven't broken away from the Pac-12 yet.Phalanx wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 7:27 pmI don't remember playing Arizona, but I do remember the ducks getting smoked by Illinois at home.Merganzer wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 5:05 pm Purdue has played two games on the road so far this season, and have lost both, @ Marquette, 76-58 & @ Penn State, 81-70. Last night, Washington led Purdue, 30-22 at halftime, Purdue turned it around in the 2nd half and won, 69-58.

Ironically I only watched the first half, and Purdue looked way out of sorts. Oregon can beat them, but Ducks will need to have a good defensive game.

Braden Smith, who looks to be the POY of the B1G so far had an "Off" game for him. Lately, he'd been averaging 15 points, 10 assists a game, in this one he finished with 17 points, 5 assists. He played all 40 minutes, 7-14 from the field, 6 rebounds, 5 steals. He did have 4 turnovers, but 0 fouls.

Our bigs are bigger than their bigs and our guards are faster than their guards yet the ducks continue to jack up 3’s like a bunch of Steph Curry wannabes. This team is really frustrating to watch right now.

I'm hopeful that all of these missed shots means we go on another run late to win the game.

2 points in first 8 min of 2nd half. And those points were right at the beginning of the half.

3/19 from three but they just keep jacking up threes. The lack of ball movement and complacency with jacking up 3’s is really infuriating to watch.

The lack of getting the ball into the high-post at all really shows the lack of size that this team has on Offense.

As good as Shelstad is we don’t have a true PG to facilitate an offense.

What a very very disappointing performance/effort from this team, especially on a big stage. This team has a ton of improving to do if they want to make any sort of run in the NCAA tourney but as of now the Sweet Sixteen is this team’s ceiling and even that I’m unsure of. They looked like such an immature team tonight with no leadership.

Inability to adjust the offense makes me put this on Dana. Hats off to Purdue for out-playing our asses in a "big" game.
