Oregon's 3 L's have been at home this season. Washington is a Quad3 game, 1-6 in B1G, 10-8 overall. This is a Must Win.

Oregon is 4-3 in conference, 13 games left. A quick, objective look at the remaining 13 games had me thinking 13-7 is a reasonable goal. Not sure if that would have them in the top 4.

I like the optimism..

Here's a break down on how we could pull that off:

vs Washington
@ Minnesota
@ UCLA
vs Nebraska
3-1, Would love to go 3-1 here.

@ Michigan
@ Michigan state
0-2. Would be pumped with 1-1 split, but 0-2 is looking likely. The Michigan schools are 19-0 at home this year.

vs NW
vs Rutgers
2-0. They're both solid teams, but I'm hoping we get a home winning streak going after losing 3 at home.

@ Iowa
@ Wisconsin
1-1. I hope.

vs USC
vs Indiana
@ Washington
3-0. I hope.

Yeah, I'd say optimistic is 13-7 with what's left. Pessimistic version of me says 10-10. Betting version of me says 11-9.

Hopefully we start with a big win tonight!

Maybe football is rubbing off on basketball. 11-8, 3-5 Ohio State just beat15-5, 7-2 Purdue, on the road, 73-70. Purdue led 41-28 at halftime.

Needed that one. Bamba's best offensive game in two months.

Not the prettiest game for us. Nice to see guys like Bamba and Angel step up when Bittle/Shelstad were struggling to put up their normal numbers.

This team has a record that is much better than Altman's regular teams, the teams that turn it up in February. This team was at its best at the end of November, when it beat, Texas A & M, San Diego State, Alabama, at a neutral site. It hasn't played as well since. The wins, on the road, at a neutral site continue. Undefeated away from MKA.

The depth of the team is also being expressed differently than usual, often 3/5 of the team don't show up. When they do, this team still doesn't shoot well, are constantly being beat on the boards, usually resulting in 2nd chance points for the opponent. Yet. this flawed team is 16-3, and they really should have beaten UCLA. The Illinois loss was a basketball version of the Rose Bowl. Oregon isn't as bad as that game made them appear to be.

12 games left. USC. who Oregon beat, took down Illinois. Ohio State just beat Purdue. Michigan State is the one team that has avoided a misstep.

Hopefully despite our flaws we can get a Top 4 seed for the B1G Tourney. The Offensive inconsistency makes me feel like playing the fewest amount of games in back-to-back situation is probably best for us without a dynamic lead-scorer.
