I'm thinking, hoping, that consistency for Evans will come with consistent minutes. This was a particularly bad line for Angel, but it isn't like we're going, "how'd that happen?" He's awful on defense, doesn't rebound and can't score in the paint. Bamba's D has kept him in the line-up, and his offense has been better in the winning streak. Making sure Bittle at least gets a touch in halfcourt possessions is a must, early 3's are a killer, especially when you're 4-16.

I’m fully convinced Bamba has the yips. He has consistently been a much better 3 point shooter in his career, and now he hesitates any time he’s open beyond the line and doesn’t look confident at all taking the shot. They’d be so much more dangerous if he figured it out, but if it is the yips that would be very hard to fix midseason.dd10snoop28 wrote: Sat Feb 22, 2025 2:21 pm We've known that this team has all of the tools to make a run in the tourney, but it has just been a matter of putting it together.
Huge step in right direction.
We need Bamba to step into that #3 scoring option role. Still not happening...
