Indiana needs this game more than us. We gotta play with good motivation and intensity.

This will be an interesting game. Indiana has been on a similar trajectory. They've been working in transfers, had a 5 game losing streak at the same time as the Ducks, and have won 4 of their last 5, including a road win at Michigan St. There's certainly talent on the Indiana roster, but Ducks have a clear coaching advantage. One would hope that the Ducks have a nice home court advantage on senior night, but I don't trust our fans to show out.

There's an argument that MKA is the least hostile arena in the B1G. Altman's teams put the pressure on by having Senior Day festivities after the game, so far, Altman is 11-2 on Senior Day. The Ducks lost the first game, but won the 2nd, 94-48, over Utah, and won the next 9, before USC won, 70-69, in 21-22. The Ducks won last season.

How did the Ducks go from one of the most intimidating venues in all of NCAA (Pit) to where they are now? And it happened almost immediately after they moved from the Pit.

You answered your own question. Modernizing "The Pit" would have been great, and in keeping with all the other athletic venues the Ducks have. Instead, MKA is as generic as possible.

Most Big Ten arenas are generic, and still show up. Our student section is honestly worse than the Beaver's bball student section.

I don't think it's strictly the student section. Feels like our fans generally make every excuse in the book as to why they can't attend games. Rather than dictate the atmosphere themselves, they blame the school for lack of great atmosphere.

Sure, I wouldn't disagree. Pretty sad though, miss mac court.

The old chicken or the egg. MKA was constructed as a modern Arena. It doesn't look like any thought was given to emulate the best court in the country. MKA looks and feels like a movie theatre. The scoreboard wouldn't shake if the crowd stomped their feet. "Shout" is great at Autzen, it's rocking from the opening kickoff. But at MKA, "Shout" is just another part of programmed entertainment. It used to be the Lone Ranger", "25 or 6 to 4" The team skipping the warm-ups, and staring down the opponent from mid-court.

Great fight down the stretch. Shelstad is unbelievable in the clutch. The crowd did a pretty solid job. No reason it shouldn’t be like that every game. They could sneak into a top 4 seed in the tourney.

Easy to see why Indiana has been so tough in the last month. Their defense was giving Oregon fits all night but the Ducks found an extra gear late to get that win. Still can't believe they survived only hitting one three in the 2nd half.

Anyone remember that Whosyourwally guy who called this team a joke a few weeks ago? That guy’s an idiot.

Bamba found the serum Cousinard drank at the same point last year? It’s unbelievable how, every year, Altman has players that have looked lost all year learn how to crawl, walk, run, and fly in a matter of games late in the season.

That energy on d was fun to watch. They’re really rallying around each other.

Most importantly, they won a game when the 3 wasn’t falling. That’s huge.

Definitely agree about Bamba, who has really had it going during the 6 game winning streak, and, it wasn't quite as bad, but the win, at Wisconsin was a game where the Ducks were 8-23 on 3's, 6 of 25 tonight, so 2 times in a row, the Ducks also had 15 offensive rebounds to Indiana's 13, and overall, 43-36.

Kwame Evans has been unlocked. Probably the biggest development of this game.

Defense was very good for all 40 minutes. Basically returning to our beginning-of-year defensive effort.

Offense was clunky but pulled it through in the end.

Bamba still isn't playing like our #3, but his defense is all-league levels.

Bamba's shooting is going to be a problem. It's a combination of poor shooting form and low confidence.
