Yeah same here. But I thought Bryce Brown would be a Ducks too  . With Lache though, everything points to him being a Duck. There's no late push from another team & a lot of LSU fans actually think they aren't even pursuing him anymore. We'll see.

For what it's worth, the coach that was his primary recruiter for LSU (and would have been his position coach) moved on to be the head coach at Memphis. I've seen a lot of places that he is considering Memphis so that relationship must have meant something to him. It doesn't mean that LSU is out, but it doesn't help their chances.

Yep another reason pointing to him being a Duck. Just watch, he'll go to Auburn.

Too bad this isn't the guy I was talking about. :D

But regardless, I kinda like he's deciding earlier, because it could effect the choice of Latts..

...or maybe Latts commits first and we don't have to worry about this. Not that I wouldn't take both, but I really want at least 1.

All would not be lossed if we didn't get Lache "Lake" Seastrunk. he is a great Talent...I hated how the Bryce Brown sweepstakes played out! . I am glad we have Dontae Williams he is a stud...and to have LMJ and Kenjon all working with Gary Campell.. Ducks have a nice backfield. :D There is always the 2011 class

I agree. If we had to choose between Lache this year or a comparably running back next year, I would choose the later. LMJ and Barner will be sophmores (neither one will leave early) and DWill will be a freshman. I would love to have Lache, but how many RBs do we need to that are within a year of each other? I would much rather spread out the talent so (1) there is not a huge drop off when they graduate; (2) we can continue to recruit top RB talent because recruits won't be scared off by what appears to be a logjam at their position; (3) It looks better to future recruits if we have two 1000 yard RBs versus four 500 yard backs; and (4) we keep the current players we have happy by giving them the amount of touches they think they deserve.

If Lache doesnt work out, it will be much easier for us to get a top RB in next years class because LMG will be a junior and we will be coming off of back-to-back Rose Bowl seasons (fingers crossed).
