Atkinson will be announcing on Pat McAfee's show tomorrow while Nick Abrams will be announcing on Wednesday. Oregon has to land one of these guys or they'll need to flip someone as there just aren't many uncommitted LBs left.

And now Texas is trending for Atkinson. Kind of wish Oregon had kept on Ili (who's since committed to USC) more since all the top LBs are east of the Mississippi this cycle.

Read in the end, he was very high on playing his college games in front of his family in LA, so he decided between UCLA and USC. Can’t fault a kid when he’s highly recruited by all the top programs in the nation but chooses to forego playing for a natty, in order to play his college games in front of his family. Wish top Oregon HS basketball players were more like that.

Probably because of AAU, basketball players are so much more well traveled by the time they're 18 than football players. I've thought for a while that the more summer football becomes a thing, the more it would help Oregon for similar reasons.
