Jurrion Dickey on probationary suspension?

Post by OregonFan4Life »

Sounds like he’s had some real attitude issues, was apparently kicked off the team but updates are he’s on a probationary suspension. He must’ve been buried on the depth chart and wasn’t happy about that. Who knows what’s really happening though and if this is just internet rumors.

So you're telling me not to pencil Dickey in as breakout player of the year. Got it.

Apparently. I was quite disappointed to read this cause I thought he might have a breakout year as well. Oh well, still a lot of talent in the WR room but sucks to have lost Evans and now see someone with a lot of potential have these sort of issues.

Fighting with teammates and arguing with coaches. Sound alike it’s not the first time.

I guess for some people, the pressure to change and the new monetary goodies ate too much. It’s truly a sad situation.

No one has made a “Double-Secret Probation” joke yet and quite frankly, I am disappointed in the board for this. Y’all should be ashamed at the lack of effort.

He could just be playing 3D chess, but if he means what he says, Lanning makes it sound like Dickey's Oregon days may be done.

I'll reposted since my post from yesterday is lost, but Dickey shoulda transferred this offseason. His inability to really crack the depth chart because of his injuries and the amount of talent we have at WR have made it hard to reach any of his potential.

I do respect him for trying to stick it out with us for this long, but a change would be ideal for all parties

I’m listening to QB11’s podcast back from August 4th where he goes over the offense and this was all before the Dickey stuff came out. Without knowing of this QB11 mentioned he’s heard from sources that Dickey has had trouble learning the playbook, he is extremely physically gifted so QB11 wouldn’t count him out (though again, all before this came out) but he hasn’t been able to learn/grasp the playbook.

Being suspended and barred from all team activities is way beyond just an inability to learn the playbook.

Well obviously but it does point to lack of effort which can lead into this sort of behavior.
