I feel bad for what's going to happen to the Beavs and Cougars insofar as these games are now a complete shadow of themselves.

In the 'playoff projections after 2 weeks,' I said the winner of Illinois and Indiana will be a playoff team because the winner has a great shot at ending the season with 1-2 losses (Illinois doesn't play Oregon or Penn St, and Indiana doesn't play Ohio St).

I'll be out chasing elk in the coast range on Saturday, but I might go out of my way to see Tulane against Ole Miss. Ole Miss is highly ranked but very gettable, and Tulane has looked like they can at least hang. If they kept Makhi Hughes, they'd be my favorite for the G6 playoff spot.

Lastly, the Big 12 picture is going to get a lot clearer this week. Is TCU a top 25 or maybe even top 10 team? Is Utah worthy of their ranking, or did the UCLA win give them underserved attention? This week's winners are likely to still get knocked off down the road, but I would personally take Utah, Texas Tech, and TCU all over Iowa State right now, even though ISU has the highest ranking.

Oklahoma State is about to lose to Tulsa at home, beating them 69-3 really isn’t that impressive haha.

Edit: it’s official, Oklahoma State lost 12-19 at home to a Tulsa team that lost to Navy 23-42 last week. I think the 69-3 beat down was more about Oklahoma State being a really bad team than Oregon being a really good team. I’m kinda going back on any expectations I had for Oregon this season, we really don’t know how good Oregon is.

Iowa with a solid win at Rutgers 38-28. They have a really good run game and pass rush, that’s gonna be a really tough November road game for Oregon.

I’d say Iowa D just isn’t great this year, and. Anyone who paid attention already knew Rutgers D is bad

Big fan of Rutgers' QB Athan Kaliakmanis. Surprised he didn't end up at a bigger program. If he was at Notre Dame, I think they would be undefeated right now.

Utah's Offense is once again the source of all of their problems.

As someone who always roots against the confederacy conference, it was a pleasure to see Arkansas to full Cristobal. They blew a huge lead but down just 1, they were in field goal range and ran run plays to bleed clock so Memphis wouldn't have time to score. Welp, ball pops out and Memphis recovers and just lets the clock run out to take the W. Go tigers.

Indiana is boat racing Illinois right now. Illinois looks overrated, but Indiana still looks a lot scarier than they did last week.

Looks like Oregon’s top two toughest games are next on the schedule. Illinois is not a top 25 team, and they only beat Duke cause Duke imploded, but Indiana looks legit.

Huskies are a one trick pony, get their athletes outside in space, that’s about. Against a secondary that looks like high schools it works fine, but they’ll be in for a rude awakening when they go against Oregon’s athletic secondary.

Also the refs in the Apple Cup are pathetic, there should be at least 5 taunting penalties on the Huskies.

I think Illinois is a top 25 team. I'm old enough to remember some top 25 Oregon teams get eviscerated by some Utah, Arizona, and Arizona State teams. One game doesn't make a season.

I'm shocked at this Cal-SDSU game. A pick six has this all but sealed in the 3rd quarter.
