Good chance. It was actually why I migrated over to this forum. I originally posted on 247 and got into a bit of an argument with "QB11" when I essentially said they should drop one of Terry Wilson and Seth Green to offer Herbert, and had to listen to his argument that was an insufferable combination of "BUT THEIR ATHLETICISM IS AMAZING" (I occasionally listen to his podcast and he remains very hyperbolic on measurables and how they translate to being a good football player) and "Oregon kids don't compare to kids who play at Texas powerhouses" (in the case of Green). It took a long time, but I think what happened was Frost saw that Green was getting benched at his high school and that recruiting Herbert would take virtually zero effort.OregonFan4Life wrote: Thu Sep 18, 2025 8:24 am

Great call STU.
In fact, in keeping with themes from earlier in the thread, one might say you made an ass-tute observation.
See what I did there?
Hiyo!
I’m glad you migrated over here to us. You bring a lot to the forum and when I say you are “our version of the Japanese Groundskeepers from Major League” I say it with 100% love because while you are a tough grader, you have a keen eye for a lot of little details that most fans would miss.
I hope you stay here a long time and I secretly hope the term “ass bruise” eventually makes its way into NFL injury reports. Then I can say “I know the guy who invented that back in Fall 2025”.
Love ya STU, happy Thursday bro!

Why couldn't we even play them every other year?

Still haven't seen anything credible (from established sources) about Moore being ok. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we see him this weekend but this feels like keeping the secret that he'll be out for a while.

There was never anything official about him being hurt in the first place, it’s a total guess to me at this point.pezsez1 wrote: Thu Sep 18, 2025 12:19 pm Still haven't seen anything credible (from established sources) about Moore being ok. It’s safe to concur that the coaching staff is still ass-essing the situation.

Definitely hope he's out there, he's so dynamic he really bulks up the playbook. The offense could get backed up without him.

Honestly I hope he sits or rather belly lays out of the OSU game if he is anything less than 100%. A little low risk adversity for the team (like the 9AM game start last week) will help more than hurt in prep for PSU.

I think part of it how Oregon's schedule works out for Big Ten home and away games. They can do an away non-con in even years because they have more conference home games. OSU wouldn't agree to more games if they didn't get home Civil Wars out of it.

No, the scouting report we got was from srsmiley007, who absolutely nailed it.OregonFan4Life wrote: Thu Sep 18, 2025 8:24 am

I wonder how fast the media will be able to ass-certain if Dakorien Moore is playing today based pre-pane warm-ups?
Also, does anyone else wish Lanning and Terry would recruits a ready-to—play-immediately center for next year whose first name starts with Da and whose last name is Moore?
Why? Because if Dante stays in school for next season, we could play that mid-70’s song “More, More, More” over the Autzen speakers whenever Dante hits Dakorien for a tuddy.
I can dream….

Crazy that this is the end of a very long streak of Civil War games. Was reading how WWII was the last time the game wasn't played. Sad to see that streak end.
