Ducks use their secret weapon for the TD, Kenyon Sadiq. Take that, Beavers.

Between Bo (9.4), Dillon (8.6) and Dante (10.3), right now Dante has the higher Yards/Attempt while passing and it sure looks like Dante chooses to throw the mid to deep routes more often.

Nice breathing-room TD to end the half with the Beavers getting the ball to start the second half. Nothing wrong with the offense, anyway.

108 yards for OSewe. 2 busted run fits leading to longs of 17 & 11 and still a 2.8 ypc.
The only reason the Beavs have any points is a completely blown coverage where an entire quarter of the field was vacated.
All things due to youth and things that can be corrected on film.
And still. 108 yards. 2.8 ypc.
We have officially reached an SEC fan base level of expectations correlated to panic.

Rolling and having fun now. Just hope this translates to success against real teams. So a hard to project.

I don't understand the RB depth chart. Riggs still looks great.

Anyone want to put into words why that felt a little unsatisfying? Or maybe it's just me.

It just isn’t the same. The beavs were expected to be bad. They were. The ducks were favored by 33.5 pts at kickoff. Exactly met expectations. There was everything to lose, and nothing to gain if you didnt throttle them this bad

> Why? Because if Dante stays in school for next season, we could play that mid-70’s song “More, More, More” over the Autzen speakers whenever Dante hits Dakorien for a tuddy.
Really? I always thought it was about the three stooges: "In the midnight hour she cried Moe, Moe, Moe." For those of us who remember the 1960s the "scheme from Mondo Cane" would work.

Because there was zero urgency and there did not need to be. There was no possibility of the Beavers winning. Ducks could have scored into the sixties, but kept things mostly basic and the stringers gained even more experience. I am curious why Thomas played again. Perhaps the coaches see something in him.StevensTechU wrote: Sat Sep 20, 2025 3:42 pm Anyone want to put into words why that felt a little unsatisfying? Or maybe it's just me.

Strictly guessing, but wonder if Thomas playing was related more to him being a local kid getting a chance to play in the in state rivalry game than anything. There’s no way he has any chance of seeing meaningful playing time, outside of at least the top 3 guys getting hurt.rockthief wrote: Sat Sep 20, 2025 4:00 pmBecause there was zero urgency and there did not need to be. Re: Oregon State @ #6 Oregon (Sept. 20, Sat Noon BTN)
Some thoughts nobody asked for:
1) Will Stein was the #1 reason the ducks didn’t cover the spread. Beavers basically said “run up the middle or run the screen please” and Stein obliged way too much. If ducks wanted to they could’ve aired it out all game long and scored at least 50. They pressed with no safety help all game long. 4th quarter officiating was the #2 reason. My three fan theories about Will are:
A) Gamesmanship by Will (pretty confident this is it)
B) He was being a little stubborn
C) He is entertaining HC jobs. Only reason I’m slightly concerned about this is cause the plays were coming in late on the play clock, sort of reminded me of Dilly against OSU in 2022.
2) My biggest criticism of the coaching staff is I don’t feel like RB roles have been established enough by now. Feels like the RB rotation is very haphazard. I love Limar but he’s not a true RB1 that you can hand it to all game. He’s a really good scrappy RB2 that comes in and pisses the defense off. We need Whitt back. But I wish RB’s were more established, feels like Davison is the short yardage back but that’s it. I want more Hill on the outside.
3) Bad defense on the second drive but overall defense was fine. Beavers had hardly any success running the ball. Defense was very undisciplined on the second drive and Lanning will let the young guys hear about it. Their lone TD was more about the Oregon defense than the Oregon State offense. Run defense outside of mistakes was fine, and honestly there were like 2 times where Boettcher read the play but he literally covered the gap too quickly and the Beaver RB snuck behind him. Felt like at times the front seven was a little too fired up early in the game.
4) I know this may be weird, but I hope Jackson is getting therapy, he seems so out of it. Every time he came onto the field Boettcher was patting him on the head and encouraging him. Not sure if it’s his mom’s cancer but he just simply ain’t in it, and I feel terrible for the guy. We could really use his run defense though as Mixon is great as pass coverage but his run defense isn’t amazing.
5) Dakorien is amazing and makes football look easy.
6) Bryant needs to settle down fielding punts.
7) To the 2 duck fans in front of me that left after the first quarter cause they were mad it was tied 7-7, you suck.
