That 3rd conversion pass to Jmac was critical! Good job Moore. Helped keep drive alive and now running game is picking up.

Maybe Stein is learning from the Indiana game, if a run up the middle with Davison is working don’t go away from it.

I think what we are seeing is, when Stein isn't calling a great game, Nix and Gabriel were so experienced they could identify how to play their way out. Moore simply needs more experience, so when the play call is bad, we just get stuffed.

If this drive doesn't show why Davison is RB1 then I don't know what does. Keep running the rock!

Love that TD run, there was nice Big-10 style fullback lead blocking there! More please!

Man Davison is so good! I thought for sure he was going to get tackled for a loss, he does not go down easily, great balance and strength.

For people watching the game (I'm under orders from my cardio to avoid Duck Games, they cause me chest pains), is there a reason Dakorien and Sadiq aren't getting looks? Under triple coverage or is the rain that bad? I was there for the Cal Monsoon game and 2001 Civil War, just wondering...

It's not as bad as the 01 civil war, but it's affecting the passing game.

I honestly don't think the TV is showing how bad the rain/wind is.

OLine hasn’t protected well so far, Moore was under pressure first few drives and got sacked a couple times. That last drive the run up the middle with Davison worked so well they stuck with it for a majority of the drive.

There was a good screen to Sadiq though. But seems like Wisconsin is focused on stopping Sadiq, Dakorien, and Whittington.

I know it’s easy to think our DLine is the issue but our LB’s are the reason they are having success with the running game. Our LB’s are below average and while Boettcher is a fun player he isn’t starting quality. Just send one lineman downfield and he’s completely taken out. I’m very disappointed our coaching staff didn’t do more to upgrade the LB room in the offseason.
