Had to dig a little this week. Not the greatest slate of games as almost all of the Down Right Conference taking the week off to play FCS and mid-major opponents. The Big Ten really lacks headliners, as well, outside of USC and Oregon.

The James Madison and East Carolina games could factor into who gets the G6 spot in the playoffs, so for the real sickos, I included those games. They should also be good, competitive football games. Similarly, SMU and Pitt/GaTech have chances to get the ACC playoff spot.

UW is hard to put a pulse on. Their skill position players are pretty good, but I feel uneasy when picking their games because of the inconsistency.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team quit like UCLA has. It’s like they didn’t spent any time in practice this week and at this point their secondary is literally jogging and not even trying to cover anyone. UCLA really needs to clean house.

Can’t believe duck fans wanted Jerry Neuheisel over Stein, he just looks like a scared little boy on the sideline that’s way in over his head.

Not sure who this announcer is for the UCLA-Washington game but he must be a Washington alum, dude is delusional for the Huskies and keeps commenting on next week’s game in a very positive manner for the Huskies.

Wisconsin might be secretly decent. They lost closer-than-expected to Oregon, best washington, competed for a while with Indiana, and just beat Illinois. Nobody would've predicted 2-2 in that stretch.

I've made fun of how some Southeastern Conference bottom feeders are allergic to winning. Michigan State against Iowa yesterday was on par with the best of them. Up 10 at one point, Iowa kicks a field goal early in the fourth, then scores a TD with 1:20 to go, MSU burns no time off the clock and Iowa eventually scores the game winning field goal at the buzzer.

Western Kentucky's coach lost them the game against LSU. He was so adamant that he wanted touchdowns instead of field goals, and it cost his team either 3 or 6 points in a 13-10 loss.

BYU looks deserving of a playoff spot. Utah does not.

BYU will be in if they win next week and then beat Texas Tech in their CFP, but I don't see any way for both them and Tech to get in.

If Alabama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Oregon all win next week, which they'll be favored to do, there'd be no room for them in the bracket.

There will be more shakeup after the conference championship games, though.

It would be interesting if Georgia and Texas A&M meet in the SEC championship. If Georgia wins, A&M would still be in the field, but Georgia might fall out with a loss. Alabama is currently ranked #10 and beat Georgia head to head. It could drop Georgia to #10 and bump Alabama to #9, as well.

I can't wait to see how it all works out.

BYU looks deserving of a playoff spot. Utah does not.

BYU will be in if they win next week and then beat Texas Tech in their CFP, but I don't see any way for both them and Tech to get in.

If Alabama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Oregon all win next week, which they'll be favored to do, there'd be no room for them in the bracket.

I said on another thread that BYU should be in over Notre Dame. They have better wins and fewer losses. That's where my comment comes from.

Understood. But I don't think Vegas lines should determine who makes the playoff, I think your performance in the regular season should.

Syracuse is a bottom feeder in every sense of the word, and the Pitt win isn't overly impressive. They're a middle of the road team at best in any other conference. Take a look at Notre Dame's wins and tell me with a straight face that those are impressive wins, outside of USC
