Re: QUACK! 2025 RB Jordon Davison commits
For the record, I thought Kani Benoit was awesome. This is going to sound like blasphemy, but I thought the fact that he had far superior vision to Royce Freeman that he might actually be the better player in the pros, whereas Royce was just physically dominant against college kids. He never got a real chance, though.
Benoit highlights. Tell me you don't see Davison making some of those same runs. Davison is a better blocker.

Benoit was great at finding the holes and had some burst to him. He also had the ability to run threw arm tackles and make guys miss, but he wasn't all that strong
Freeman was just a powerful runner in college, but i never saw his game translating to the nfl. He was slow for a top running back, and frequently got ran down. He also wasn't very elusive. He couldn't make guys miss like Benoit
I'd like to see Davison get in the open field to see what kind of speed he has. I remember during his recruitment there was some talk that he wasn't as fast as people thought he should be. Other than that we've seen him make guys miss on occasion, he hits the holes hard, and he can run threw tackles. I can see Benoit, but with some more offseason training, I can see him being much better than Benoit. I can see him potentially being a stronger Kenjon Barner .
