Yup, there are a lot of fan bases that are terrible, but Penn State fans are just disgusting. Their football program should've been torn down. Out of every football program, I probably despise them the most because of the actions and cover ups that took placebuckmarkduck wrote: Sat Dec 06, 2025 7:36 amPenn St covered up and then stood by pedo coaches and faculty who covered it up for decades. Their fans lined the street in protest of how a HC was treated who lead the cover up. They aren’t firing a guy over this little bitGreenblood wrote: Fri Dec 05, 2025 1:18 pm Well put, gy!
I can only imagine that Kraft must be absolutely livid about this being made public. O-Live's Crepea just posted an article about it. While I won't predict that he'll get fired for it, I wouldn't be surprised if PSU makes some kind of statement distancing itself from some of his comments and/or Kraft is made to issue some kind of apology.

Penn State should have had the death penalty for 20 years.

Re: Pat Kraft leaked audio
The "apology" did ultimately come:
“What I will tell you about that is I’m embarrassed,” Kraft said Monday, when asked about it during Matt Campbell’s introductory press conference. “I apologize to anyone that I may have offended with that video that leaked. Personally, it’s been challenging for me. But I am very passionate about Penn State, and it was nine or 10 football players that asked, wanted to sit down, and we had an open and honest discussion. I fell short of the standard I should represent for all my staff that sits up there, all 833 athletes that I represent. You know, I can’t apologize enough for those who I may have offended. I’ve got to get better.”

Re: Pat Kraft leaked audio
I did a little work in the sports industry early in my career and learned quickly that it's about as good-ol-boy as any sector there is, with professionalism heavily lacking. When I listened to the audio, I found myself thinking about how he likely isn't far off from the norm. The guys in suits want to be cool and one of the guys. Sports business is a strange world.
