Re: NBA/Blazers 2025-26 Thread
It's not just Jru being out, it's the fact this team is playing without a point guard. Jru, Scoot and Dame are all on the bench. Blake Wesley (combo) is hurt. That leaves Deni, Shaedon and Love as the next-best options. Deni is the best pseudo PG of the three but he's also our top scorer. This Blazers team isn't just struggling to make shots, it's struggling to even get its offense rolling, and that's the result of not having a good PG who knows how to set things up.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

Seems like they were also without a center last night. A funny situation to be in after giving Ayton away while still paying his salary.

Re: NBA/Blazers 2025-26 Thread
Rob has been awesome this year, but he will miss many games, probably the rest of his career. Have to hope Clingan doesn’t become a fixture on the injured list, because if the Blazers have to rely on Hansen for big minutes, they are in serious trouble, he just ain’t ready for extended minutes. Should the Blazers make a trade for a tweener, that can play the 4 or 5?Phalanx wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 4:49 pm Seems like they were also without a center last night. And the tank train starts rolling. I have completely lost interest in the Blazers because of tanking and the incompetent front office. I will say that the blazer brass is at least consistent in not being able to do anything right.

Right? What is this world we live in where the Blazers suddenly own the Warriors while losing to everyone else? Crazy after all those years Lillard got his butt handed to him by Steph and Co.

Blazers beat the short-handed Lakers and could get to .500 at the midway point of the season with a win in Sacramento tonight. They've won 9 of their last 12 and have a true point guard again since Jrue came back from injury. Maybe this is the year that Chicago finally gets their first-round pick.

Except for this:
1/13 Warriors 119, Blazers 97

I've stopped watching the team since Deni is a proud Genocide supporter.nogerO wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 8:13 pmThis didn't age well now did it?squintsdd wrote: Sat Dec 13, 2025 11:24 amAnd the tank train starts rolling. I merely stated my disinterest in the team, especially in light of Deni's recent interview where he wanted to let everyone know where he stands.greenyellow wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 8:20 pm

Or is the topic of Blazers personal interviews not part of the thread?

On a side note, I met Omri Casspi in an airport a few months ago. He was tall.
That is all.
That is all.
