Re: 2026 Portal
A lot of former Ducks hitting the portal for the 2nd, 3rd, etc. time.
Emarrion Winston leaving Baylor. Michael Wooten is leaving Arizona for South Florida. Kodi DeCambra is leaving UNLV. I'm sure there are others.

Yep. I heard that they're paying him in the range of $5 million per year. Uncle Phil is going to have to pony up some serious cash if he wants to keep Dante another year.

Re: 2026 Portal
Kenny Minchey (backup ND QB, and one of my preferred options if the Ducks were to get a QB in the portal) flipped his commitment from Nebraska to Kentucky. Since UK was a potential landing spot for Leavitt, it seems like the suitors for Sam Leavitt outside of Oregon are dwindling.
Another former Duck, Keanu Williams, is transferring from UCLA to Penn State. Tracking former Ducks is getting harder and harder. I didn't even realize Williams was still in college.

Re: 2026 Portal
I'm surprised by Ian Strong (Rutgers) going to Cal. Strong is a 6'3, 210, big bodied wide receiver with very good skills. If Oregon is going after a receiver in the portal, he'd be among my top choices (though it seems clear we spend big on high school WRs and not so much on portal players at the position). Good pick up for Tosh.

Re: 2026 Portal
washington running back Adam Muhammad, who looked like a surefire NFL player against the Ducks, will be joining Tosh in Berkeley. They've had a few impressive transfers now.

Mohammed is leaving UW? Ouch. That guy was unbelievable vs. the Ducks.

Re: 2026 Portal
In a shocker (to me, at least), washington's Demond Williams is hitting the portal. He reportedly has a "do not contact" tag, which means someone tampered the heck out of this and he knows where he's headed.

Re: 2026 Portal
Dilly got Kentucky's QB, who I think has solid potential. The fuskies announced just a few days ago that they re-signed Williams and Pete Thamel said it was near the top of the market. So this has to be someone with a really, really big checkbook - LSU, Florida, Oregon, etc.Duck07 wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 7:55 pmASU and Dilly?StevensTechU wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 7:46 pm In a shocker (to me, at least), washington's Demond Williams is hitting the portal. Sounds like Washington is going to make it difficult for Williams to leave since he signed a contract a week ago...

Maybe its Miami and Mario and it means Jedd is going to leave for a NFL job. Keeping track of this stuff is wildStevensTechU wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 7:57 pmDilly got Kentucky's QB, who I think has solid potential. Re: 2026 Portal
Not sure which is worse: Demond Williams reneging on the contract or teams willing to spend $5M+ on him.

Re: 2026 Portal
Is it better for uw to save $4-5M but need a QB, or waste $4-5M on Demond Williams?
