Dillon Thieneman enters NFL Draft

Post by greenyellow »

As expected, S Dillon Thieneman has entered the NFL Draft. There was never any doubt this would be the case once they landed Perich.

Wish we had five of him on the team. A friend of mine whose coaches in HS locally told me he was is one of the most fundamentally sound Safeties he has ever seen at Oregon. I dont think I have ever seen somebody make a play at the line of scrimmage coming from the deep secondary as much as from him this year.

He's a beast. Glad we have Perich to replace him, because he's a hard dude to replace.

Good decision for him, obviously I wanted him but I think we will be ok at safety next year with McNutt getting healthy and the portal guys we got. This is the best move for him.

I got to meet his mom briefly in Seattle before the Husky game, she was very kind and fun to talk to. It’s clear this is a very levelheaded kid from a great family and I’m grateful he was a duck.
