Oregon fighting tough again by only trailing 28-26 against Michigan State at half. Defense has been great with the Ducks forcing three shot clock violations.

It’s funny how hard we play when we are missing like over half of our scoring. Why can’t we do this when everyone is healthy?greenyellow wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 8:21 pm Oregon fighting tough again by only trailing 28-26 against Michigan State at half. Always interesting when a team plays better without their best players…

Damn good effort all things considered. Non-rotational players getting minutes, making the most of them. Pretty impressed with that effort last two games against top 10 opponents, missing the heart of their team. Little concerned KJ not stepping up much this game, but it is kinda his MO. Depth will kill the Ducks, but not upset with the effort.

Ducks look like they've run out of gas once again in the 2nd half. Their shots look flat and their rotations are a tad slower now. Not really helping that Demir is out and they're having to play another walk-on in his place.

Oregon drops their 5th straight game with a 68-52 loss to Michigan State. They hung tough for 30 minutes but just don't have the bodies to play a full game against top-10 teams.

MSU played a lot smarter in the last 10 minutes. Just simple inside out basketball. Got lots of good looks and scored 10 straight baskets at one point.

I met a group of Wolverines downtown yesterday. They said they were enjoying their visit and exploring.
