Oregon's 2026 schedule
Not sure how accurate this is but QB11 posted Oregon's supposed 2026 schedule, but we'll find out for sure at 2:30 PM PT. If true though, Oregon would get their bye in early October and then have to play 8 straight games to finish the year. November would be especially tough with Ohio State and Michigan in back to back weekends.

Re: Oregon's 2026 schedule
They just confirmed that this is the schedule on Big Ten network. The first 8 games are looking pretty easy, but @Ohio State, hosting Michigan (and Whittingham), traveling to Michigan St, and hosting the Fuskies is a brutal way to end the year.

Re: Oregon's 2026 schedule
-Ohio State has to play at USC the week before Oregon, who'll be coming off a Halloween game with Northwestern and new OC Chip Kelly.
-Only two teams have a bye week before playing Oregon (UCLA & Illinois) but Oregon will be coming off their bye week too before facing UCLA.
-Oregon could still potentially have a Friday game but that won't be announced until late May.

The B1G did a much better job mixing up the travel dates and the byes. Oregon does not travel two weeks in a row. Only two teams have byes prior to playing Oregon...UCLA (we have them after our bye as well) and Illinois.

Only real negative I see is that the only bye week is after week 4, which means closing the regular season with games eight straight weeks.

Re: Oregon's 2026 schedule
With the exception of UCLA and Michigan State, 6 of the final 8 games of the season will be against teams who played in a Bowl game this year.
Our depth will be tested. I almost wish we had a cupcake or a second bye week during that stretch for player recovery.

It’s almost as if the SEC knew what they were doing before going to 9 conference games…SuperDuck wrote:With the exception of UCLA and Michigan State, 6 of the final 8 games of the season will be against teams who played in a Bowl game this year.

I feel the opposite. They backloaded our schedule:AutzenMember wrote: Tue Jan 27, 2026 4:37 pm The B1G did a much better job mixing up the travel dates and the byes. -No BYE week for final 8 games
-3 of our last 6 games are road games on Eastern side of USA. That's 11,500 miles of traveling within a MONTH!!!
I'm appalled they didn't put they BYE week between some of the Eastern USA road trips. Or at least at the bare minimum, not have the USC game in between those 3 other road games to help break us up traveling an insane amount.

Also don't love that Illinois has a bye week before hosting us. I know they lose Altmeyer, but Bielema is a lot like Ferentz where he always pumps out steady teams and will occasionally knock off a big team.

I like that we play UW the week after they play Indiana. Hoping Indiana roughs them up and/or demoralizes them the week before we play UW.

Re: Oregon's 2026 schedule
Rankings games by toughest to easiest:
@ Ohio State
vs Michigan
@ USC
vs Washington
@ Illinois
vs UCLA
@ Oklahoma State
vs Boise State
@ Michigan State
vs Nebraska
vs Northwestern
vs Portland State
Thoughts? I might have Boise and OK State too high. But Boise always proves to be a tough game for us. And OK State on the road with Mestemaker having a hot game could give us a surprising test.

I probably don't know enough about each team's outlook for next year, but I would think both Nebraska and Northwestern could be a little higher.
