Additions to Coaching Staff for 2026 Season
We've seen the news about the extra assistants, analysts, and other personnel going to Kentucky with Stein or Cal with Lupoi and the news about Mehringer and Hampton being our new coordinators, but is there any news (or even rumors) about coaches and analysts that Lanning is looking to bring in to replace the ones who are leaving?

I honestly believe its not a priority for Dan to focus on and he's not worried about it since there is also about to be a big round of NFL firings coming up this weekend and then the NFL playoffs before other jobs get decided.
I tend to think that in order to keep Dante we're going to hire someone with NFL experience to help add some things to ready him, Poncho and the rest of the players for what the league is like. It's something Pete Carroll would talk about at USC is that if you want to recruit NFL players you should run an NFL system.
Jon Gruden is the wildcard, lol but Dante would surely learn how call out OL protections in addition to Spider 2 Y-Bannana!

Probably won't hear anything until spring practices start.
