They cancelled ND, get a week 0 game because everyone else's schedules/dates were full.
Now they get two BYEs. Especially if it's an easy home game to start the year, why don't we always schedule a game week 0. Then get two BYEs?
To me this is a nice advantage, and we should do this.

Oregon really should do it but getting the right opponents is also key. Making their opener a G5 or lower-level P4 in Week 0 would be the ideal way to start every season.

Right. Basically if we could shift USC game up a week. And move Portalnd State to Week0. We'd have 4 game to start the season then a BYE. Then probably another BYE in late October.greenyellow wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 1:44 pm Oregon really should do it but getting the right opponents is also key.
