I’ve seen a few MSU people on X who say Divine Ugochokwu is coming to Oregon. If that’s true, could be why we don’t get Lewis.
Sounds like him and a couple others might be visiting this weekend (or already here). Boston College's Fred Payne is also one of the names being thrown around.

Definitely would be nice to get to get some more size. They may just get filler there, and use Bowen and Stewart primarily at the 5. I know Stewart is undersized, but his game doesn't really translate anywhere but the 5. I think the ideal scenario is he translates into a Bell/Wooten type guy, which is really what his skillset should allow for, but he hasn't tapped into it yet.
Newest name linked to Oregon is Cal State Fullerton SG Kiwane "KJ" Garris Jr, who averaged 8.2 ppg while shooting 49.1% FG/42.5% 3-point as a FR this past season. He's got a mix of mid-major and P5 schools after him.
Jerry Easter II to Oregon. Transfer from USC. Was a top 50 recruit. 6'5" SG.
Averaged 4 pts, 3 boards as a frosh. Really good defender. Needs to work on his shooting. Coming in as a Sophomore.
Oregon is basically down to Sanon, Payne, and Ugochukwu for the remaining 3 spots. Have a feeling they'll only land one and they'll keep looking even into the summer for 2 more players.
Huge pick up! Payne had almost identical shooting stats to Shelstad last year. It felt like this would happen soon after Stokes signed elsewhere. Coach Dana has pulled off quite a feat here, almost completely scrapping a team and rebuilding on the fly. It will likely take awhile for them all to learn to play together, but it looks like a decent assortment of talent and maybe better shooting than we have had lately.
