If they end up making Week Zero the new Week 1, it makes sense that the CFB Playoffs would start earlier too.

It WOULD make sense, but given past performance by THE COMMITEE, they haven't been consistent at MAKING SENSE...
Furthermore, I am of the position that ZERO teams should receive ANY preferential treatment, as to scheduling and/or being "mentioned or named" in the rules/bylaws (including Hawaii and/or NOTRE DAME...).

The CFP committee still seems content keeping the CFP schedule exactly the same. They need to move it up to minimize portal moves and coaching changes.

Would also like to see no preferential treatments in scheduling, such as all games against FCS teams be played at the beginning of the season. (Looking at SEC teams)

Also all teams play equal number of conference games.

And no special treatment for notre dame. Who really cares about them anymore, aside from ppl around there. They havent won anything or been relevant for decades.
