Oregon was so close to closing it out but that leadoff walk comes back to bite them. Really surprised they didn't bring on Bell to close it out as Bradley was just so wild to open the inning. On to extras now.

Feels like Oregon just lost their best to win it in extras by not getting a run with Smith, Jaksa, Mabeus, and Lauaki up in the T10.

What a double play to catch Levu's liner and throw out Cholowsky at 1B. Onto the 11th.

So many strikeouts by Oregon today. Beside that one inning, the Ducks just haven't been seeing UCLA's pitchers well.

Not looking good as UCLA has the bases loaded with no outs.

Easy to see why they went with Bradley. Bell just isn't it!

What a brutal way to lose, ugh. Hit batter with loaded bases. Sloppy inning by Bell.

Losing on a bases loaded HBP is absolutely sickening.

That’s the most Oregon baseball way to lose a big game like this.

I don’t think that ball hit his Helmet at all. There was one review that clearly showed it didn’t hit his helmet.
Also I think the ucla guy was out on 3rd.
Both calls were super close but of course they both go the bruins way.

I hope the umpire heard the UCLA player getting hit as the video looks like it missed him.

Still not sure I heard the ball hit anything but Mabeus' glove. It got close to the helmet but no way it hit him.

ESPN has a few different slow motion, angles of the pitch. After looking at all of them, it doesn’t look like it touched him at all, and the batter knew it by the look of his face

Agreed, although I haven't seen any slo mo videos, the ball did not seem to change direction at all, and that pitch, had it actually hit the UCLA batter, was hot enough that you would have seen a grimace on the batters face, even if it was only a slight glancing contact. There was nothing of that nature and the ump basically gave the win to the Bruins...Of course, the batter tried to sell contact and the ump subscribed to his lame efforts. Oh well, someone wins and someone loses these games..No real need to dwell on the whole matter, as its a done deal now...
