Is Currie still visiting? He committed to Texas less than an hour ago.

Great question. One has to think that a 16 year old that commits to a school before seeing all of his finalists is not solidly committed.UOducksTK1 wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 1:44 pm Is Currie still visiting? He committed to Texas less than an hour ago.
But, who knows anymore?

Fakatou just cancelled. Why can't Oregon get 5-stars this cycle? Pretty frustrating.

Gotta wonder if getting blown out in the playoffs in consecutive years makes recruiting a little bit harder.Weston wrote:Fakatou just cancelled. Why can't Oregon get 5-stars this cycle? Pretty frustrating.

I think it's more likely that Oregon has recruited so well the past couple of seasons that early playing time isn't as likely. Why not get paid a similar amount from somewhere else while actually getting playing time. Transferring also plays a huge part. The logic of getting more playing time at another school and then transferring later has become a logical tactic by some of these kidsOregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 9:54 amGotta wonder if getting blown out in the playoffs in consecutive years makes recruiting a little bit harder.Weston wrote:Fakatou just cancelled. Ya I will admit this June has had less big names then last couple Junes but I think squints is right. Most 5 stars we’d land would probably sitting most their first year.

Oregon has been having trouble with elite interior DL the past couple cycles but I kind of chalked that up to them having such a loaded depth chart and limited NIL. But with Bear and A'Mauri in their final seasons and the depth chart thinned out, you'd think recruits would come running for the likely PT.
