East Coast kid stays regional. Not surprising. Cincy airs it out too. Elite WR's don't want to block, they want to get looks.

Its funny I wrote "local Lowe" because it rhymed but I have always wanted the best we could possibly land and if that person happens to be local its an added bonus IMO!

BTW if you were mocking local talent, whats up with that!

I wish Oregon was more of a football state, and less of a pot-smoking soccer state. There's a lot of big boys in Oregon, if football was taken as seriously here as it is in Texas, we would be pumping out linemen like crazy.

i've always considered oregon and washington as baseball/softball states.

texas has 1300 plus HS's. Oregon and Washington combined might have 750 or so. it's a # game, not a "taken seriously" game.

If both a numbers and "taken seriously" game. Not only does Texas have more high schools, but they also train harder and start at a younger age.

Very True, Oregon does not have even close to the intensity that Texas football does

I really like Lowe but not just because he's local talent. If there's an in state kid thats legit like Owa, Suh etc you have to get those guys. But to want guys & offer them even if they're a notch below some other recruits simply because they're in state talent is retarted. If a kid isn't good enough to play for us then he shouldn't be offered. I don't care if he was born & raised inside autzen freaking stadium. Lowe is really good & is easily good enough to be a Duck. Him being an Oregon native just makes it a little cooler.
