QUACK! 2027 ATH Tae Walden commits

Post by greenyellow »

Oregon has landed 2027 4* ATH Tae Walden. Says he'll have a chance to play both DB and WR for the Ducks. Likely the first of two major commits today.

And like all recruiting now, this one's not over. 247 has a story up that Walden plans on making multiple visits to other schools this Fall.
Gosh recruiting is fun.

Good for him. I’m of the thought that you don’t overspend for unknown product (incoming freshmen), unless said player is a true ringer. I’m spending money on pretty sure players that have produced, and adjusted to the top power levels, proved on the field. It’s why players like Thienamen are most worthy of the output of monetary funds. It was a great financial gamble. Most incoming freshman, are anything but. Unfortunately, today’s game has quelled my fascination on freshmen recruiting. Just doesn’t mean what it used to. I’m watching the portal x100. Free agency is what it is mostly about.
