And a maybe Heisman QB and top NFL draft pick?

lol Mehringer that was a Stein 2.0 playcall. We go deep once and it works, and right back to dunk and dunk football.

Dante seeing ghosts and he hasn’t even been pressure yet. Dude has all the talent in the world but not sure he’s mentally strong enough.

Our offense is literally embarrassing. Lanning, as much as I love him, starts every year looking like the team has no idea what they are doing.

Also am I the only shocked the first drive wasn’t scripted? We had to huddle every single play… like huh??

It feels like the coordinators and players for Oregon are timid and so afraid of mistakes, Dante three times has double clutched on throws and Mehringer is not calling much, only had one deep throw.

This is exactly why I posted what I did after the Peach Bowl, I hate to say it but feels like Dan needs to learn to let go of the offense and bring in a grown man that will wear the pants on offense.

I heard a podcast with an Ohio State insider and he said Ryan Day had to learn the same lesson with defense, after the playoff loss to Georgia he realized he didn’t have the defense needed so he brought in guys like Knowles and Patricia and had given them the keys and now they consistently have an elite defense. Oregon’s offense has not been elite under Lanning, especially against tough teams, I think he needs to recognize he’s not an offensive guy and bring in someone and hand them the keys to the offense.

Dang thank goodness Tuioti got there cause the interior DLine left a huge hole for Maddox to run through.

True frosh Davon Benjamin #5 in on that 3rd down stop. Pretty impressive he’s playing meaningful downs first quarter of the first game. Must have had a super impressive fall camp.
