the one good thing is that every single aspect that makes up the "team" performed terribly.

players, coaches, commentars....you name it.

and then within the coaching, all of it was bad. offensive/defensive play-calling

and then with the players, it was every position group.

Does anybody wanna start a bingo card?

“We didn’t play up to our standards”

“We got things to fix”

“We’ll take a look and evaluate”

“Hats off to Oklahoma state they’re a great team”

It’s the same predictable stuff every year. Get blown out, say some platitudes, don’t actually change

What an embarrassment to lose to OSU after they got beat by TULSA! Dan Lanning looks to have made the wrong hires at OC/DC and has done a horrible job at actually developing leadership among the vets. I'm afraid of what will happen to Oregon when they play USC in a couple weeks. Could be a lost season if they don't fix things quick.

dan lanning was always too much of a motivational-type coach. that has always been clear.

too much pathos.

What do you mean COULD be a lost season? My wife’s from Oklahoma and she’s trolling me hard right now.

To reiterate: this is a bad OSU team. There is no amount of spin that finds the good in this loss or any moral victories. Embarrassing loss for a team this good and veteran. We mortgaged future starters and lost a huge chunk of young talent to bringing back all these starters from last year and the season’s already cooked.

Hard not imagine this turning into a multi-year reset unless they make a miraculous turnaround, which I obviously hope they do.

I mean 2025 Penn State lost season. Best case scenario is 2024 Notre Dame who went on a run after losing to Northern Illinois but I don't see that happening unless major changes are made.

It's the coaching. When everything is bad that's a coaching issue.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

Bingo. Especially with how much elite, experienced talent we have this year. No reason for this team looking like it when through a rebuild rather than returning everyone from an elite team.
