And not having Jamari Johnson was a big deal for OK State game. Our TE presence was non-existent.

Actually I thought Kendre looked good in the limited snaps he was in, I felt he should’ve played more over Olesh who didn’t look so good. Kendre had solid blocks and ran good routes and he’s such a freak of nature.

Also regarding injuries, I have heard from reliable info that this was the toughest fall camp Dan has ran from a physicality perspective. I’ve said this before and Kenjon Barner said this himself last year but I really feel Dan needs to lay off the high physicality in practice, Curt Cignetti and Ryan Day don’t run practices like that and they look plenty physical in their games. It just continues to feel like Dan’s pride has sabotaged this season. We can hope the season turns around but if it doesn’t, we will find out just how stubborn Dan really is.

Pretty clear most of the team is already checked out and just playing to cash the check. They view pressers as a hassle and a drag, and it clearly shows. They got their bag, now we're all supposed to leave them alone and back off. This is disappointing as a fan and alum, but given how much money now corrupts college football, this was probably inevitable. I've loved following my school for years now, but that interest is quickly fading away at the same rate as the players' enthusiasm.

Agreed. It’s entirely possible this team figures it out and turns it around. They have the talent. It’s also possible they don’t, but I’m not giving up hope yet. Time to rally.

I don't care about the score of tonight's game. All I want to see is an Oregon team that doesn't look completely predictable. I'm going to assume that during the past week we've leveraged some outside help and the power of AI to identify and eliminate all of the major "tells" on both sides of the ball that have probably been tipping off every opponent for at least the past year. And so I'm curious to see how we look when we might have a tiny bit of "surprise" on our side.
